Tips For Smoky Bedroom Eyes
Getting those sexy, smoky eyes can be hard to do, especially when there are a million different ways of doing it…it can get pretty confusing. For me at least, there have been times when I would simply forget or screw something up, so I always found it hard to remember every single step and get it perfectly.
Thankfully, I went shopping in the States today (which is my favorite thing to do) and found some amazing deals, one of which I absolutely fell in love with. I had never really gone to Marshall’s before, but I decided to pop in and see what’s new, and to my surprise found some amazing deals on everything from shoes, to perfume, to makeup and anything else you can imagine.
Hidden on a bottom shelf (after scouring like a maniac for what seemed like hours), I found a cute little box that came complete with a beautiful silk eye pillow in black and white, 3 different eye shadows, a shadow brush, mascara duo, a black eyeliner, and a pencil sharpener. Upon examining the box, I finally decided to read the label and found that every single item in the box was actually for getting sexy, bedroom eyes.
I looked on the back of the box and got very excited because they had step-by-step instructions on how to use every single product in the box to get that look. I couldn’t wait to get home and try it, and I am seriously impressed. Oh and by the way…the whole thing cost $7.99. I’m a bargain queen, so I was ecstatic. Now even if you don’t go and buy the Donna L’Oren Bedroom Eyes set, you can still get those sexy bedroom eyes, and here’s how!smoky bedroom eyes
STEP 1
Apply a very light ivory shadow to the inner corner of the eyes using a shadow brush. Press it into the corners. This will open up your eyes, and make them look nice and big!
STEP 2
Use a gray shadow on your upper eyelids going from the outer corner of the eye to the crease and middle part of the eyelid all the way up to the brow bone.
STEP 3
Apply a dark shade, almost black, to the outer corners of the upper eye lids. Use a shadow brush to blend all 3 colors in.
STEP 4
Coat your lashes with a good mascara, working in a zig zag motion from the base of the lashes and curling up and out at the tip.
STEP 5
Finish off by lining the entire perimeter of the eyes (as close to your lashes as possible) with a black eyeliner and voila ladies, you’ve got sexy, smoky bedroom eyes!
