Before I was old enough to know the joyful benefits of Christian Dior lip gloss, I was slathering my puckers with the junior version from Bonne Belle: Lip Smackers.
For years, Smackers Lip Sparkler in Raspberry Orbit got me through junior high and, admittedly, into the first year of university, because it had the perfect amount of color without looking unnatural.
My trusted Bonne Belle brand is now collaborating with Paul Frank, the tee and accessories label with Julius the monkey as mascot. The limited-edition collection — which launches in late 2010 — has nine flavors in total: banana, banana split, banana pie and chocolate-covered banana, among others.
